Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never ends.

I find that I am most at peace when I'm near a large body of water. That day was a glorious day.

A day well spent.

Indie album cover shoot lol

Despite the title, I am not cussing at you, lol - it's our inside joke. So, yeah, BFF Charissa (and her boyfriend) finally came to visit me in JB last weekend! Although it was just for one night, I'm thankful for what I can get wtf! Brought her to my favourite Chaiwalla for drinks and had some banana cakes. We wanted to go Eight Lido for dinner and drinks but the place had an event there that night so we had to change our plans. So we ended up having dinner at Gianni's (which was a bit lackluster that night sigh). And we felt that we didn't want the night to end so early but then decided that we were too tired to go to a lounge/pub after that (we sound so old haha!). So we took the party to her hotel room wtf. We had a mini photoshoot in the room using her boyf Munster's instax camera. :)

It was a good weekend. Should stay longer next time so we can go for nasi lemak above water and go photoshooting in Kota Iskandar k!

Urbanscapes 2011

I went to visit my dear friends in Nilai over the weekend and went to Urbanscapes for the first time in our lives on Saturday. It's an outdoor creative arts festival, incorporating food, local music, arts and shopping. We went during noon under the scorching sun and left three hours later because it was too hot for us to handle. I think if we do it again next year, we shall remember to bring some sunscreen, hats and wear flip-flops. Oh, and ditch the boy/boys behind because it takes a lot of patience to wait for us as we girls go from booth to booth, flipping through the racks and racks of clothes.

This is a very picture heavy post. You have been warned!

I had the french toast flavour and it tasted like cinnamon. And I hate cinnamon.

[white laced top - online (ugly duckling closet); green bias hem skirt - online; blue sling bag - Mango]

The longest part of my skirt is too long (read: sweeping on the ground) so I tucked a bit of it in to make it shorter, thus creating a 'towel' effect. The whole day I joked about me going out with a towel wrapped around my waist haha! The funny thing about these shots are that I kept bursting into laughter because the wind kept blowing the hem of my skirt. So Charissa told me to pretend to take a few steps forward while she snapped my shot. It was harder than it sounds, especially when you're someone who laughs at anything, like me.

And can you believe it, I did not buy a single piece of clothing from this trip at all. All I did was spend my money on food. And cookies. And nail polishes & make up.

Said cookies. Finally finally got my hands on some Famous Amos after months of nagging about wanting some.

The trip was very fun albeit a short one. It was a much needed getaway from Johor to visit a couple of good friends and talk about stuff like we always do. I really miss you guys and let's not stop keeping in touch!! I'll be planning a (longer) trip up there soon, until then, I love you!!
